Big Bubba's Bad BBQ with five restaurant locations in Central California hired Duke Marketing to provide advertising, public relations, local store marketing, and events.
Duke Marketing created a direct mail campaign to drive sales to each location. Uniquely designed postcards which featured one of their signature menu items was offered FREE to generate trial and also offered a free bull ride on their mechanical bull. The design reflected the brand personality and did create an impact and increased trial and sales.
Big Bubba's Bad BBQ needed to boost sales at a particular location. The owner didn't want to buy advertising; he wanted to give back to the community that had been coming for two years. The Anniversary Birthday Bash event was a huge success.
All guests were offered a free meal which included BBQ ribs and chicken, coleslaw, beans, Texas toast, (the pre-determined meal was for ease of service) ,and a free bull ride on their mechanical bull.
A line formed around the building for over 8 hours and more than 1500 meals were given away to the happy community.
Duke Marketing provided merchandising and point of purchase communications to boost holiday sales of Big Bubba's Bad t-shirts, hats, sauces and rubs. Displays and gift baskets were branded to match each individual restaurant's location.
Duke Marketing provided a gift card promotion for all locations which included an incentive program for guests and employees.
Duke Marketing coordinated Toys for Tots fundraiser for all Big Bubba's locations. Guests who donated a toy received a free bull ride on the mechanical bull and hundreds of toys were donated to the children.
