Duke Marketing coordinated a Street Taco sampling team at Rubio's Beverly Hills location to sample their newest menu item: Street Tacos.
Duke Marketing created Rubio’s $2 Tuesdays to increase sales and traffic on a typically slower day in a five store test market. The promotion proved so successful it was rolled out throughout the chain’s more than 150 locations. Tuesday sales are now second only to Friday sales at Rubio’s chain wide.
Duke Marketing landed Rubio's on the Food Network's, Food 911 show. Chef Tyler featured the cravable and "World Famous" fish tacos from Rubio's.
Ralph Rubio appeared in a seven minute feature at the store opening in Folsom, CA.
Ralph Rubio and celebrity-Danny Bonaduce (child star of Partridge Family) did a Grilling for Charity event selling Rubio’s Street Tacos in Los Angeles to raise funds for the Lili Claire Foundation to support children with Autism. The event drew over 300 people and raised $3,000.
Duke Marketing landed Rubio's CEO, Sheri Miksa on the cover of Chain Leader magazine, a trade publication specific to multi-unit organizations. The October 2004 story was a 5-page spread on the innerworkings of a unique and profitable organization.
For a new menu release, Duke Marketing created a 26 page, handbound scrapbook that featured their history, highlighted new menu items and the new value pricing. The kit was one of the largest outreaches to industry and consumer media, and generated features in The New York Times, as well as many other national, and regional publications.
